I was thinking about what to draw for 'match'. Then today I thought about the story of the Little Match Girl. Man that was a sad story. So anyway I thought she was kinda like a match herself, all burnt out by the end. So this is her. Rather badly done in Painter, but I'm really tired...

Not Lovin' It

Drew this yesterday before bed. I suddenly felt melancholy so I drew the girl, then drew the table and the food.

Then I started thinking about how kids these days really have it pretty good and that they mope too much. Then I started thinking I was getting old.

Then I thought about McDonald's and it's blasted 'I'm lovin' it' campaign. I figure that someone on their marketing team is either a psychological genius, or else is completely blind to the Emo/Goth fad that is all the rage with teens now.

So somehow it makes sense in my head, but it probably doesn't to anyone else. That's why I draw instead of write...

Incidently, I drew the girl first, then the demons, and then somehow subconciously combined the two and came up with the tentacle-headed girl.

Was at a club yesterday night. I must be getting old, spent most of the time thinking 'this is stupid'. Anyway, I suppose it influenced the pic.

MAAD Sunday 1

Some pictures from the MAAD market yesterday. It was ok, but most of the people there were bargain hunters and the plain ol' curious. So no buyers yet, but we're hoping to change that!
